Welcome to the UNITE HERE Retirement Fund
The UNITE HERE! Retirement Fund is a trust fund which consists of two pension plans – the Legacy Plan and the Adjustable Plan – through which more than 62,600 active, retired and former UNITE HERE members across 14 states receive or are anticipated to receive pension benefits.
Your Pension Benefits
The UNITE HERE Retirement Fund provides pension benefits through two plans the Adjustable Plan and the Legacy Plan to assist you financially when you reach retirement age and meet certain eligibility requirements, or if you should become disabled and are unable to continue to work.
Adjustable Plan
Created in January of 2015, the Adjustable Plan is the active pension plan of the UNITE HERE Retirement Fund.
Legacy Plan
Created through the merger of a series of pension plans, the Legacy Plan was frozen effective December 31, 2014, so that members do not accrue any further benefits under the Legacy Plan after that date.

About the Fund
The Adjustable Plan and the Legacy Plan are funded through contributions from Participating Employers pursuant to collective bargaining agreements and participation agreements, and are managed by a Board of Trustees who serve without pay.
